There’s no pressure to know the right words. Bring your questions, your doubts, and your real life.
Prayer is simply talking with God. If it helps, start here and make these words your own:
God, I want to know You. Help me understand who Jesus is. I need Your forgiveness and Your guidance. Teach me to trust You and follow You. Amen.
There is no magic formula. This is an invitation to an honest conversation.
Start with the Gospel of John, one of the four accounts of Jesus’ life. Read a little each day. Ask: What does this show me about Jesus? What questions do I have? How might I respond?
Try John 1 today, then John 3, John 4, and John 20.
Faith grows in community. Talk with a trusted Christian or visit a local church that teaches the Bible, welcomes questions, and cares for people. You don’t have to take every next step alone.
The Bible points to God’s work in creation, in the life of Jesus, and in lives changed by grace. Look for opportunities to practice that love: forgive, encourage someone, serve a neighbor, and make room for compassion.
Tonight, reflect on one thing you’re thankful for and one way you can show kindness tomorrow.
